Are you referring to the autocomplete of the shipping address in the checkout? If so, can you please confirm that under Settings > Checkout the option to Automatically provide autocompletion on address fields is turned on?
If this is turned on, is the autocomplete not working for every address, or just some? Please note that this feature is not available in every country, so this could be causing the issue. The list of available countries, as well as more detailed information about this feature is found here in our help document.
If this is not the issue, please explain in more detail - is there a specific app you are using to pre-fill a shipping address? If it’s related to a specific app, your best option will be to reach out to the app developer directly for assistance.

Hi Hilary, thanks for response, we were trying to pre-fill the shipping address with cart permalinks, for example this snippet
checkout[shipping_address][first_name]
should have pre-filled the address on the checkout page.
Anyway, the issue seems that has been resolved in the meantime, but for a few hours this functionality was not working anymore.
Ah thanks for clarifying further. Glad to hear the issue is resolved. I am not aware of any live issues that existed regarding this, but always good to check in and see if others are experiencing issues as you did.

This issue has returned and even affects Shopify’s demo stores like this one for the Dawn theme. This link worked previously but has stopped working.
Hey Hillary, seems that the issue is back and it’s occurring on shops that use the new checkout version. Do you have any solution to fix the problem?
No fix yet. I have a ticket open with Shopify support. If more people can open tickets maybe it will get them to move faster.
