New Home dashboard UI rolled out to all Shopify Plus (enterprise) merchants worldwide, per support; no option to revert. Multiple merchants say it removes at‑a‑glance metrics and quick comparisons (e.g., yesterday/period tabs), makes text smaller, rounds figures (hindering exact sales), and centers a minute‑by‑minute line graph that’s less useful. Some report the view doesn’t refresh in real time.
Additional regressions noted: removal of the Plus overview (cross‑store revenue), Live View replaced by a less informative graph, analytics graphs changed from horizontal to vertical, hidden search field, and tiny buttons. Screenshots were shared to contrast the old, bold “glanceable” layout with the new one.
Requests and suggestions:
Status: No official commitment to revert. One comment referenced a dashboard being reverted, but generally the issue remains unresolved and dissatisfaction is high.
The overview is gone with this downgrade. I’ve stopped using the desktop dashboard page since it has changed, because it has become useless.
My tip is download the green shopify app and the dashboard looks more or less like to old version. You see your total sales, you still have to click if you have more locations to get the sales info seperately. And pay-out is two click away. Not ideal, but maybe Shopify will return to a user friendly dashboard.
