Anyone Else Get Ripped Off from Lack of Grandfathered Theme while on Trial?

We went to purchase a theme yesterday after one week of trial, and the price is now $310 from $180, we asked that the original price be honored because we did not have this in the budget, we already paid our Shopify developer $500. The theme developers say it’s Shopify’s fault for not grandfathering us in! Literally one week and the biggest blow of DOUBLE the price… Not a cool feeling at all.. The theme has glitches and stuff now too that we will have to pay our developer to fix… =(

Oh, and to top it off Shopify sends a message today saying…
