Another day goes by and @Shopify still has no intention of fixing this.
I am having the same exact issue and this is beyond annoying, at least I’m not alone.
@Jane_Bartel I have a feeling there are a lot of people having this problem. I know others personally are. But most people don’t know this discussion board even exists.
I’m getting kicked off all the time now, almost every 10 minutes.
@Victor_5 @Shopify_77 is anyone ever going to help? your chat certainly isn’t.
@Hobbies mine does seem to be getting worse. It has told me to login twice in the last 10 minutes while I was actively doing things on it.
Was happening to me as well. I started a chat and luckily I was put in touch with a really awesome Shopify person, Carlo P. Carlo confirmed it was a known problem that was being worked on but didn’t have an estimated timeline. Carlo kept in contact with me and was clear and concise in providing information and updates. Last Tuesday Carlo informed me the developers released a fix that should solve the issues and so far things are running smoothly (fingers crossed, knock on wood) since then. I am sorry you have had a much different experience.
This has been happening to us for about 2 weeks now- logged out constantly, screen says ‘no such page’, anything we are working on is erased and we have to start over. After multiple chats with support ice been told the same thing- known issue, working on it, we understand how frustrating this must be etc etc. Every time its a new support person who acts like they have the solutions so its like 30 minutes of explaining the same things, tried all the same ‘fixes’.
Its so aggravating.
@TheYakYarnery interesting. I spoke with another chat person today, and they said they are still working on a fix but didn’t have a timeline since it is a ‘complex issue’ related to how logins are stored in their system. The system that does it supposedly is getting ‘overloaded’ and glitching, which is causing this. I hope it gets fixed soon.
This has been happening to me since Christmas. Initially maybe 1-2 times x day but the frequency is increasing - I think I’ve had to log back in circa 10 times so far today. I am losing work and losing time having to repeat that work. It is incredibly annoying. I’m sure we’ve all cleared caches, tried different browsers and done all of the things the Shopify help pages suggest. At this stage, it’s not us, it’s Shopify. Please fix it

Multiple time a days, everyday. Getting over it. Shopify needs to get this sorted.
They sent me a message last night claiming it was fixed… but it still happened to me already this morning.
I’ve had a few glitches since I was told it was fixed but nothing like it had been. It kicked me out maybe 4 times this week. I noticed every day something is different within the system. Product pages change which is the most annoying. The variants are now pages instead of a long list. The bulk editor will only pull up one page at a time so is it really a bulk editor now??
Shopify was so slick when I started with it and now they’ve over complicated it. I’m really beginning to hate technology. Have you started researching other options?
@TheYakYarnery OMG the variants! I already complained to my chat person and was given the same BS ‘thank you for your input’ crap. It is yet another STUPID change that just makes our lives more difficult. I swear their developers all need to be fired. Or make them run a shop for a month and see how necessary these features are that they keep hiding for the sake of ‘make it clean’. I don’t need it to be pretty, I need to not have to do 3 steps that used to be 1 step.
It just happened to me twice in 5 minutes - lost my info and I had to retype but before I could even save I was already logged out. This is so frustrating.
I keep getting logged out as well for several weeks now. I will be in the middle of updating a product and I keep getting logged out. Shopify support was of no help. They wanted me to take a video of when it happens. I told them it was random, how can I take a video of a random event? It is very frustrating and it is increasing in frequency.
I have an open chat with one that understands what is happening, and I continue to forward new messages like these to him to prove it is still happening.

It definitely seems to be getting worse these past couple days. It had slowed down for a few days, but it’s back with a vengence.
