We run a busy retail store using Shopify POS and realized how many customers were checking out without actually being attached to the cart.
Staff gets busy, lines build up, people skip loyalty prompts, missing emails/phones, etc.
We started looking for a better customer-facing setup and recently came across CounterConnect, which basically turns the customer display into a sign-in screen before checkout. Customers can add missing contact info themselves and it even merges duplicate profiles automatically.
What I thought was interesting is it can also run side-by-side with CustomerView in split screen, so stores can still use Shopify’s receipt options.
Curious if anyone else has had this issue or found a workflow they like for customer sign-in at checkout?
