API access - retrieve transactions and customer data

hi,

We started using Shopify in 2023 and as a small team need to automate as much of everything as possible.

We use an online account system and we use its API to link to our systems as well as direct debit processors etc..

However we currently do not have one for Shopify and I would like to code up a link so we can automate transferring data from Shopify into our accounts system with the flexibility custom code provides us.

Could somebody advise how we can access the API for this please? We do not need to make a App, just transfer customer and transaction data across.

Might be able to do it in flow. Other than that I think you’d need an app. If you’re open to a 3rd party app, we should be able to do this with our app mesa. It has support for custom code as well so it’s pretty flexible.
