App not visible to merchants

I am getting complaints from my new merchants about my Shopify app not visible in admin when they search. They are not able search and install app.

If your App Store listing is active and merchants can install it using the direct App Store link, this doesn’t sound like a listing issue. It could be related to payment provider availability or eligibility, since Shopify only shows providers that are supported for a merchant’s store and region.

If the issue persists it may be worth reaching out to Shopify Support so they can verify whether the payment provider is correctly indexed and whether there are any account or regional restrictions preventing it from appearing in Admin.

I understand your concern, If your app is already published on Shopify app store, I recommend checking your app distribution settings first, If everything looks correct, Shopify partner support should be able to investigate the visibility issue.

I checked app distribution settings
i see that app it only accessible to merchants with link.
when i am trying to make it fully visible i am getting error. i have attached recording pls help with this as merchants are not able to install app.

If merchants can install the app using the direct App Store link but can’t find it through search in the Shopify Admin, it’s usually related to search indexing rather than an issue with the app itself.

A few things to check:

• Confirm the app is Live and available in all intended countries.
• Make sure no distribution or eligibility restrictions are preventing certain merchants from seeing it.
• If the app was recently published or updated, allow some time for Shopify’s search index to refresh.
• Verify the app title, subtitle, and keywords accurately reflect what merchants are searching for.
• If everything looks correct and the issue persists, I’d recommend contacting Shopify Partner Support with your app ID and a few example merchant stores that can’t find it. They can verify whether an indexing issue or any visibility restrictions is affecting the listing.
