Hi, I need a way to import Amazon FBA sales into Shopify without disrupting or duplicating my existing Shopify or Amazon listings. I am looking for either an app or a general procedure.
We manufacture our own products and sell them through both Shopify and Amazon. We are relatively new to Shopify so our Amazon listings have been around a lot longer.
Currently
Shopify is the primary store.
Amazon FBM orders are already syncing into Shopify through ShipStation and this workflow works perfectly!
Amazon FBA orders do not sync into Shopify, so I currently have to manually reconcile those sales using Amazon reports. This is not ideal!
What I would like is a way for Amazon FBA sales to appear in Shopify as orders so that my Shopify sales reporting reflects all sales channels.
I have seen many apps but they don’t make it clear if they can provide what I’m looking for. To be clear:
I do not want to create duplicate Amazon listings.
I do not want to create duplicate Shopify products.
I do not want to disrupt or replace my existing FBM order flow through ShipStation.
I do not want inventory syncing or listing management features altering my existing Amazon listings.
Ideally, I only want FBA orders imported into Shopify for reporting and tracking purposes, if possible.
I do not want Amazon FBA for MCF.
From the apps and integrations I’ve looked at I’m unclear whether they can:
Import only FBA orders while excluding FBM orders.
Link to existing Amazon and Shopify products without creating duplicates.
Be used strictly for order import/reporting without managing listings or inventory.
Has anyone implemented something similar? If so, what app or workflow are you using? Do you have a similar experience and you can share how you overcame this? Manually doing the reconciliation orders is not something we want to continue, so there has to be an alternative.
Before choosing an app, I would ask whether it can import FBA-only orders, map to existing products by SKU, disable inventory/listing sync, and backfill a chosen date range.
If an app cannot isolate those controls, a small custom workflow from Amazon FBA order reports/API into Shopify orders may be safer. You can diagnose the first version from a redacted FBA order export and SKU mapping without giving store access.
Instead of wrestling with a bloated app that tries to do too much, you could just build a simple, lightweight script. Think of it as an invisible data assistant that does exactly one job : it copies your completed FBA sales into Shopify purely for reporting.

To help you figure out the best path forward, I have a quick question for you : Are you mainly looking to see your total sales volume inside Shopify, or is your biggest headache actually dealing with the messy Amazon payouts and fees for your accounting ?

When evaluating an app, I would specifically confirm the following before installing it:
Can it import FBA orders only while ignoring FBM orders?
Can it map to existing Shopify products by SKU instead of creating new ones?
Can listing sync and inventory sync be completely disabled?
Does it support an order-import-only workflow for reporting purposes?
If those options aren’t available, I’d avoid using it on a live store until it’s been thoroughly tested.
If no app meets those requirements, another option would be a custom integration using the Amazon SP-API to pull FBA orders into Shopify as orders for reporting purposes while leaving your listings and inventory completely untouched.

@ayox , looking for an app here is a trap. Standard apps are hardwired to sync inventory and listings, which is the exact opposite of what we want—you risk overwriting your live FBM stock.
You don’t need an app. Since this is purely a data-routing play for reporting, a lightweight custom script handles it safely.
The script simply fetches shipped FBA orders, strips out the financials, and inserts them into Shopify as pre-paid, pre-fulfilled, and archived. By mapping these orders to a fictional “Ghost Location” in Shopify, the system absorbs the revenue and taxes for the reports but completely bypasses the live website inventory. The FBM operations stay 100% untouched.

Yes, that can be done. Search for Amazon-Shopify integrations that do just order syncing to import FBA orders into your existing Shopify products by SKU. A number of apps will bring in Amazon orders without listing or inventory syncing, but confirm that FBA and FBM orders can be treated as separate workflows, as you really don’t want to mess with your ShipStation proces.
A good rule of thumb is to start with a small set of products and verify that orders get created in Shopify for reporting purposes, with no changes to product or inventory information. The key to avoiding duplicates is SKU matching.

We had a similar setup and ended up using Amazon by CedCommerce. It can connect existing Amazon and Shopify products through SKU matching and you can control which order types are imported.
