if anyone have better suggestion to implement those to store analytics data please do suggest.

Hi @Mahfz_ShopiDevs

If you want to track how many orders, visits, or views come from your app block, you’ll need to go beyond Shopify’s default analytics and set up your own tracking.

A solid way to do this is by firing custom events whenever someone interacts with your block.

You’ve got a few options:

  • Shopify Web Pixels API – lets you push custom events into Shopify’s customer events system, so you can track behavior alongside Shopify’s own data.
  • Google Analytics (GA4) – send custom GA events to track visits, clicks, and conversions tied to your block.
  • Mixpanel or Amplitude – these are great if you want deeper product analytics like funnels, retention, and user behavior.

For orders, you can also use Shopify order webhooks. Attach a tag or metadata that marks the order as coming from your app block, so you can separate it out later.

Hope this helps!

what about App Proxy ?

For monitoring orders or user interactions from your app block, you can use Shopify App Bridge and custom events and then pass data to your analytics service using webhooks or App Proxy. When paired with Google Analytics or Segment, you can see how many visits convert and more for better reporting. Hope this helps.
