I’m looking for an app recommendation. I have a product that is essentially one product but set up as two because of POD limitations. Meaning, the second product is set up to act like a variant of the main product. Basically one has a frame, and one doesn’t. Most POD’s can’t combine separate products like this into one, and as such, I’m using an app to fix that by linking to a different product completely (the framed product) but it feels like a variant.
Anyway, my question is, that I’d like the thumbnail of the main product to sometimes be the thumbnail of the second fake variant product.
Is there an app that can allow me to use a custom thumbnail on collection pages (product cards) but once customers click-in to the product a different thumbnail will show by default?
This is because my product defaults to the unframed version, but I’d like to show a framed version sometimes on the collection page. When customers click-in, I’d rather it default to the unframed product. Also, the unframed product does not have any framed product mockup images in it. Only the second fake variant product does.
