App shows a refund on an order, but I don't see the credit on my card?


What do I do here? I placed an order through Shopify, the order is in my order history .. and the merchant has updated the order as CANCELED and refunded. However, I do not see a credit on the credit card used to complete the order.

This is an old pre-order, and the merchant never fulfilled my order, and I requested a refund about 7 days ago in writing.

The card is still valid, and I do not know when (the date) the merchant refunded me .. there was zero communication from the merchant. I have omitted the order number, due to privacy.

Hi @hamsol , thank you for sharing that screenshot and the details of your order you placed with this merchant.

I understand the purchase was made through the Shop app, but Shopify does not handle order processing, refunds or order support. You will need to contact the merchant store directly for support. If you aren’t able to resolve this with the merchant, I then recommend contacting your bank to dispute the payment you made initially.
