I run a furniture brand. All of our products are manufactured in Thailand and shipped to customers throughout the United States.
I’m looking for a Shopify app or workflow that can:
• Provide real-time or accurate estimates for sea and air freight,
• Include customs/brokerage fees, and
• Handle final-mile delivery rates for large furniture items.
Ideally, I want something that can integrate directly into Shopify’s checkout or shipping settings so customers can see shipping/delivery costs automatically.
Has anyone here solved a similar setup or found an app/partner that works for international freight + last-mile delivery for oversized products?
Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Shopify doesn’t really have a single app that can quote sea freight, air freight, customs, and oversized final-mile delivery all in one go, most furniture brands end up combining a freight partner with whatever rate logic they can get into Shopify.
But once the order is actually placed, you can make the customer experience a lot smoother with ParcelPanel Order Tracking. It’ll let you:
• show a branded tracking page (way nicer than sending people to random carrier sites)
• sync updates automatically across the whole journey
• cut down all the “where is my shipment?” messages that come with long freight timelines
It won’t calculate freight costs at checkout, but for this kind of multi-leg shipping, having a clean post-purchase tracking flow makes a huge difference.
