App to import products from stores other than shopify, to my shopify store

Topic summary

Importing products from supplier stores into a Shopify store is the main issue, including how to identify the suppliers’ underlying platforms and which tools to use besides CSV.

Key points and suggestions:

  • Platform detection: One supplier site is identified as running on Volusion; a CMS detection site (whatcms.org) is suggested to check the tech stack of the supplier stores.
  • Migration/import options:
    • LitExtension is recommended for migrating data across major ecommerce platforms.
    • Syncee DataFeed Manager is suggested for importing products via data feeds.
    • Uploado is suggested specifically for bulk uploading product images, highlighting no CSV requirement, support for thousands of images, and pay-per-use pricing.

Outcome: No single agreed solution; multiple app/tool options are proposed depending on whether the goal is full product/data migration, feed-based importing, or primarily image uploading.

Is there anyway that i can find on which platform these stores are made so that i can search relevant apps?

One of the sites runs on Volusion. You can perform a basic CMS lookup via this tool: https://whatcms.org

Speaking for the migration tool, check out LitExtensions, they have an excellent solution for data migration across major Ecom platforms.

If you need to upload product images to your store, you should check out Uploado.

It doesn’t use csv, it can handle thousands of images, and has per-use pricing and $0 monthly subscription.

Hi @user12234

You can do the products import with Syncee’s DataFeed Manager: https://syncee.co/datafeed-manager/
