Apple Pay doesn't work using Accelerated Checkout buttons

Hi there,

I’m trying to use Apple Pay on the store, using Accelerated Checkout buttons. But they don’t work (both product- and cart-based buttons). But Apple Pay works fine at checkout.

How can I fix this issue?

Btw, Shop Pay works well — sends to Shop app checkout with correct product and quantity. The problem appears only with Apple Pay, it says “Payment failed”.

I’m having this same problem, and so are LOTS of other people. After reading all the posts here and Reddit I am convinced that Shopify does this on purpose to force everyone into using Shop Pay for accelerated check outs. 90% of of my customers are on iPhones with Apple Pay set up and very few of them are comfortable with Shop Pay, so this is costing my business a lot of money. We paid for the year, but I’m planning to switch back to Square asap, the software and the support are far superior.
