Apply CSS to an embedded form

Topic summary

A Shopify store owner using the ‘Ecomus’ theme is attempting to embed a customer sign-up form from their CRM software (Prospect365) into a custom liquid block.

The Problem:

  • When embedded, the form displays only a loading spinner without any CSS styling
  • The form appears unusable on the live page
  • The user lacks CSS knowledge to apply proper styling to the embedded form

Support Response:

  • Initial request for the code source and page link
  • After reviewing a screenshot of the code snippet, support indicated they cannot provide a solution
  • Recommended contacting the theme developer for investigation
  • Alternatively suggested rebuilding the form from scratch within Shopify rather than fixing the external embed code

Status: Unresolved. The issue remains open with no working solution provided for styling the embedded CRM form.

Hi,

I have recently built a shopify store, using a purchased theme called ‘Ecomus - Ultimate Shopify OS 2.0 Theme’.

We use a piece of CRM cloud based software and as part of that software we have a customer sign-up form (we sell B2B). The software gives us a bit of code to use to embed the form into the website, which looks like this:

When I embed the code using a custom liquid snippet, it appears on our website without any CSS and is just showing the loading spinner.

The page the form is located on is https://www.littleconcepts.co.uk/pages/trade

I am a complete CSS newbie and can’t seem to find the code to add to apply a CSS tyle to the form, so that is useable.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

Hi @philipnelson22

I hope you are well.

May I know where you got the code from? Could you please share with us the link?

Thank you!

Best,

Hi Daisy,

The code is from our CRM software, so I can’t share the page. But here is a snippet:

Hi @philipnelson22

I’m afraid that we can’t find the solution, you should better contact the theme development for further investigation about it.

Or you can elaborate on your request further so we can start from beginning instead of fixing the code from other platform.

Thank you!

Best,
