I need this as an option… strange that it isn’t really, especially after 2 years of requests for it… surely it wouldn’t take too much back-ground work to allow both discounts.

We definitely need this feature as well! It’s totally weird that Shopify would not act upon this request by so many users for such a long time. Seems so easy to install a new class of promo codes that would allow “discount” + “free shipping”. Any other eComm system offers this…
