Are there planned changes for the Shopify bulk product edit page?

Is there an area to see what changes are planned for Shopify pages? As many of the updates have not been user friendly and seem to lack any type of real Shopify user testing.

I use the bulk edit product screen alot since its the easiest and quickest way to update many items. I’ve been a shopify user for 7 yrs. and spend hours a day on shopify. Today I noticed the bulk edit interface has changed! Now I can’t adjust the columns, adding tags or removing is now a dropdown checklist selector and I believe some features might be missing such as adding to a category. Who decides these updates? Not being able to move columns is a major inconvenience and defeats the bulk edit tool. All this additional padding is not helpful and adds to size of the page which requires us to scroll alot. Then a dropdown to check off tags, requires more work to select. The new interface is not user friendly and has become a chore to use.
I’m an experienced UX designer and architect so these updates do not make sense. I feel the designers changing these items are not users of Shopify as they are making items worse. Let me not get started about the customer search screens! Shopify please conduct some user research with Shopify users before changing the interface and use case of elements.

I’m the same, this is a horrible update for editing tags in bulk. You have to now search for every tag you want to remove if you have more than 2 rather than clicking on the tag and seamlessly deleting it. Is there a way to change back to the old version?

Hi @akozaczka

Take a look at Mixtable. Mixtable is a spreadsheet like Google Sheets, but with all Excel-style formulas and behavior. And it seamlessly syncs to and from Shopify. It’s a much easier tool than the built-in editor to bulk edit your Shopify store’s data.
