Are you allowed to sell unlicensed items on Shopify?

I’ve seen a shopify store sell unlicensed items and I was wondering if you’re allowed to do that.

If I opened a store which sold unofficial merchandise, would there be any repercussions from shopify?

Nothing like those. I meant if you made and sold items without approval from the license holder, for instance, Marvel, Disney, Warner Bros etc would Shopify care?
