Hi Community, we are encountering the following and we wonder if one of you might have a solution for that in place:
In our US/Canadian Onlineshop we have set up a United States shipping zone where we explicitely excluded the 3 Armed Forces states. However they still show up as an option in the state dropdown in checkout. Does anyone know why?
Contacted Shopify Plus support directly and got the followign answer:
I’ve just been doing some digging here and at the moment there is no way to exclude a ‘state’ from the drop down if the country it’s a part of is being shipped to. I would be happy to share this with our developers so that it may be added at some point in the future but currently if you ship to the US all states will appear in the drop down at checkout. They will only present rates if you have shipping set up for them however
