I have a functional issue with the following processus:
When my customer buys a prepaid one time 3-6 or 12 months subscription with a gift card of the exact amount of the prepaid subscription, he has to fill his Bank Card information during the payment process ( with a 0€ to pay because the git card covers the exact amount).
When I check the logs in stripe, there is indeed a log of bank card payment and another one to cancel the bank card payment, it’s a kind of control or something like this.
This a weird expérience for the customer especially when the gift card is a gift to buy a subscription and the payment process asks to fill bank card data. Not relevant.
I would like to solve this issue.
I’ve already contact the shopify support, the issue has been escalated but then no more news about the resolution.
settings of my store: Theme prestige - stripe (payment) - Appstle App ( subscription).
