Asset API resource

Hello everyone,

I am currently struggling with the Assets resource. With the API v2023-01 it should still be possible to create assets until April this year, but unfortunately I only get 404 errors. I use REST, am using the ‘write_themes’ access scope and strictly followed the docs. On my research I found several post with the same issue, see:

@Liam I have seen that you have replied to the first of the above posts, but there has been no response yet regarding the Assets API PUT requests not working under API v2023-01. Is there anything new from the Assets API team here?

Yes and no, the app is still under development. But judging by your question, it doesn’t sound like good news..

Is there no way to create an app now and then apply for an exemption to use the Assets resource?

Hi again - you may need to reach out to partner support directly from your partner dashboard to get an exception added to your app so it can call the unsupported 2023-01 version.
