At what point does ‘more traffic’ stop being the answer?

Hello :hand_with_fingers_splayed: ,
Something I keep noticing with Shopify stores is that when growth stalls, the first instinct is usually to drive more visitors.
But in many cases, traffic isn’t the real bottleneck.
It raises a few questions:

  • Is the right audience reaching the site?
  • Is the store built to convert that audience?
  • Or are there gaps in the funnel that more traffic can’t fix?

For store owners here:
What actually helped unlock growth when traffic wasn’t the main issue?
Would love to hear your experiences.
