What happens if a customer tries to use a discount code more than once for a one time use code? Does an automated message appear and block the order?
Thank you for the response. Just to clarify, if a customer used a (one time use) code and then tried to use it again, the discount code would not work for them? They don’t get any type of automated message when it happens?

If a customer tries to use a one-time discount code more than once, an error will display at checkout that the discount code has already been used. The customer will not be able to complete the order unless they remove the discount code or apply a different one.
If you’re looking for more advanced options, there are some third-party apps available on the Shopify App Store more functionality for managing discount codes. However, if you are using Shopify’s built-in discount code feature, the default behavior is to prevent customers from using the same one-time code multiple times.
