Hi, yesterday we launched our new website. We are using Enterprise from shopify themes. We are working with affiliates to offer discount codes but we also are trying to offer a free gift if customers reach 100€ on cart.
The point is that we only want to offer one of those options, or the discount code or the free gift.
The way we found to make this work is to make 2 coupon codes, one for the gift that turns that product cost to 0€ if the rest of the cart is above 100€, and the second code is a discount code for the people that prefers the % less rather than the free gift. This works because both are coupons and we have our store set it up to only be possible to use 1 code for order.
The problem with this is that customers need to add manually the product that we are going to gift and reduce the cost to 0 at checkout with the first discount code, but we want to auto add that product for free to the cart once they reach the 100€ in the cart. In order to make this we found some apps like “EasyGift Auto Add to Cart” that makes that perfectly, but as it doesn’t work with discount codes, you are still able to use the affiliate discount code and we would like to avoid that.
Is there any way to solve that?
