When I browse collections on my site some of the picture files are not the exact size of the picture placeholder. How do I auto-resize all images inside the placeholder to show the whole image?
Hey there, @svandervort ! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with your question around the sizing of these images in their image containers! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!
My first thought here is that the images within these containers are all not the same size, so the image is being formatted in a certain way within the container relative to the size of the image itself. Are you able to confirm for me that the product images used for these products are all the same size? I would expect this to result in uniform presentation.
Additionally, can you let us know what theme you’re using in your store? Have you done any coding customizations to your theme at all?
The product images used are not all the same size. Using Trade theme and yes I have done a little coding on the site.
Hi @svandervort ,
Okay, thank you. In that case I’d recommend touching base with our support team about this and they can take a closer look at this for you. As you’re using a Shopify-made theme, our team can review this and help make changes if necessary.
