Automatic product discount for subscriptions

Hi, it seems that when we choose ‘Automatic Discount’ for a product that the option to choose ‘Purchase Type’ disappears and I am forced to apply it to one-time purchases only.

We really need to be able to apply this automatic discount to subscription orders also, how can we do this?

If this is not possible, how can I put this in as an urgent feature request?? I can’t seem to find a place for that, thanks!
