We are a physical and online shop. We sell 3 types of products : dry, fresh and frozen.
We have 3 different types of shipping : refrigerated shipping, dry shipping and relay pick up + on site pick-up.
Frozen products are only available for on-site pick up, no shipping. Fresh products are only available for refrigerated shipping and on-site pick up. Dry products are available for any shipping method + on-site pick up.
At the time we speak, if a customer buys a fresh or frozen product, he still have the choice to pick any shipping method. We added warnings on the product description and when choosing the shipping method (basically “do not select this shipping method if you have fresh or frozen products in your cart”) but that’s not enough, people are still selecting the wrong shipping method when confirming their order.
We would like to build an option or use an app that would allow us to tell on every products we sell if they have to be shipped with a particular shipping method. We would like to go on a product page and be able to activate 1 or more shipping methods for it.
Also, we do not want an order to be split into two different shipping methods beacuse it would contain different types of products.
For example: if a customer buys 10 products with 1 frozen product, the only option available should be “on-site pick up”. If a customer buys 10 products with 1 fresh product, the only options available should be “refrigerated shipping” and “on-site pick up”. If a cutomer buys 10 dry products, all the options should be available.
