Does Shopify have a native function that does this automatically? I know it sounds like little work but it does save time to not have to click and print for every order (I know I can do bulk runs).
I’m happy to show up at the office and have a bunch of packing slips in the printer, makes it easy to just grab the pile and start packing.

I can definitely see how handy that kind of feature would be. However, that is not a native function with our platform. However, I did find an application that will automatically send a print job when an order is received : Orders Printer.
On our end, I will definitely be submitting this feature request to our development team so it may be considered in future updates to our platform.

As @Holly mentioned that is not a native function with the Shopify platform, you can check out Multi Carrier Shipping Label App. The app allows you to print packing slips automatically in a bulk.
Not just that you get real time rates, print shipping labels, request carrier pickups & track your orders within your Shopify dashboard using this app.
