I have an issue that just started today (2/16/2023) when editing product descriptions and for the moment I am blaming it on autowrite since it is the only change I am aware of.
I regularly duplicate products then edit the description. Starting today when I highlight a block of text in the description then hit backspace to delete the text nothing happens. When go through the same steps asecond time it then works. Needless to say this is very annoying.
Is there a way to fully shut off autowrite so I can see if that is the problem?
Try back space (not delete) over the words not the delete button. seems to help on titles when I copy products.
Thank you, but I am using backspace. Once I have repeated the highlight and backspace it works every time but never on the first try.
Maybe try not to highlight but just click mouse and the end and then back

That was a good idea. And it works, to make the description box editable.
But then I have to either hold down the backspace key or stop and then highlight the block I want to get rid of and then hit backspace.
At the very least it is a step in the right direction. Thank you.
Hi @Eric-EP-Beauty - did you find out how to turn autowrite off? We don’t want it and for our use case it can only ever cause more problems than it solves.
