B2B customers in POS

I run a business in my small town where I have retail customers and commercial customers who use b2b pricing. Because it is a small town my commercial clients often walk in to pick up orders. Entering B2B orders in Shopify Admin is terribly slow. Would it be possible to have b2b customers show up in POS?

Hey @Paul_Cowan

This is solvable but it depends on your plan. Shopify POS doesn’t natively apply B2B company catalog pricing, but there’s an app built specifically for this: POS ‑ B2B Catalogs & Pricing. It detects the B2B customer in POS, shows their assigned company location, and applies the correct B2B catalog pricing right in the cart, exactly the walk in pickup scenario you’re describing. No more entering draft orders in admin and switching back and forth.

The catch: that app requires Shopify Plus plus active B2B companies, locations, and catalogs to work, since native B2B is a Plus feature. If you’re not on Plus, POS won’t pull true B2B catalog pricing at all.

Hey Moeed, thanks for your response. I have that app and it actually works without Shopify Plus. The problem is that the transaction doesn’t flow through to my ERP as a net 30 sale for that customer.

The realistic fix is usually one of two things: either your ERP integration needs to map net 30 based on the customer (so any order from that customer gets the terms applied ERP side regardless of how Shopify labels it), or you tag POS B2B orders automatically (via Flow or the app) so the ERP can recognize and treat them as net 30. Which ERP are you on? That’ll narrow down whether this is fixable in the integration mapping or needs a tagging workaround.

Sorry Moeed, I didn’t realize you had responded on here. My ERP is a software called Xorosoft.
