Retail/B2B Blended site - What an Onion I have and hoping you all can give me some guidance.
We need to sell to both RETAIL and B2B customers here in Australia. For Retail customers (anyone who visits the site/store) we need to display prices inclusive of GST. But for Wholesale B2B customers we need to display the list price (GST Exclsuive price) so that we can apply various discounts (Catalogues) i.e. Trade, Wholesale etc via a logon in page (Which we can do).
Despite going around in circles for weeks, I cannot appear to find the solution. If we could simply have a LIST or EX GST price and then have a setting that says “Display GST inclusive price” that would be ideal. Now there is a “Display GST inclusive price” in settings but it simply adds the text “Prices include GST” under the LIST price? It does not raise the displayed price.
I have made a catalogue called RETAIL with a +10% price increase. But this would mean that I need to restrict the Store/site to member only log-in. Which is the highest form of sales prevention that I know of…so trying not to do that.
So like I said at the start…its an onion…and being new to Shopify really doesn,t help.
Does anyone have any suggestions that could assist me?? I would be forever grateful!
