Balance is currently unauthorized; why is the happening?

Hi,

When I look at ‘payment pending’ and ‘partially payment’ orders, the older orders have ‘balance is currently unauthorized’ see attachment in red box.

Why is this happening? More recent orders do not have this.

How do I stop this happening?

The ‘balance is currently unauthorized’ is only present on older orders (partially paid and payment pending)

It seems to me that there is a setting in Shopify, when partially paid and payment pending orders go over a certain time period I get ‘balance is currently unauthorized’.

Is there a way to shop this happening?

I tried to find payment gateway setting in Shopify settings but can’t find it. Where do I look?
