Hello, I just opened the application and I think a membership has been opened. I’m not making any sales right now, please cancel this, I didn’t do such a thing.

What’s Happening?

It sounds like you might have accidentally started a Shopify free trial, which automatically creates an account. Shopify doesn’t charge you during the trial period unless you select a paid plan and enter billing details. However, if you want to cancel before any charges apply, here’s what to do:

How to Cancel Your Shopify Account1. Log into your Shopify Admin (Go to Shopify Admin)

  1. Click on Settings (bottom left of your dashboard)
  2. Select Plan
  3. Scroll down and click Deactivate store
  4. Follow the instructions to confirm the cancellation

If You’re Already Charged- If you were charged but didn’t intend to subscribe, you’ll need to contact Shopify Support directly (Contact Shopify Support)

  • Shopify doesn’t issue automatic refunds, but they might review your case
