We rent the energy audit kit (our main product) for $99. if the customer doesn’t return it within 14 days, we want to charge them an additional $200 penalty fee.
We don’t really need a scheduling / booking / calendar feature. The rental period is set and starts when the user makes the purchase.
What app would you recommend for this situation? Or is there a way to achieve this without an app?

Sounds like we could solve this with our subscription rental solution at Supercycle.
You could also consider a partial payment app, like Downpay.

thanks for your suggestions. We already looked into Downpay, but were told that it’s not supporting Shop Pay which we want to use.
I am not able to find Supercycle in the Shopify App store. Is the only way to get access to it is to request a demo first? We are not really doing subscriptions, just one time rental. Does Supercycle play well with Shop Pay?
