Mix & Match Meal Selection – Customers can freely choose their preferred meals directly on your Shopify store. Bundle Pricing – Meals can be grouped and paid for as a bundle using fixed or discounted pricing logic.
For the subscription component:
Recurring Weekly Subscription – We can implement a tailored solution weekly subscription model with a minimum of 5 meals per week.
The solution includes:
A custom customer portal for weekly meal selection
Weekly meal planning functionality (plan ahead)
Pause, skip, or cancel subscription options
Personal preference settings to auto-fill weekly meal selections
Tier discount to motivate customers to bundle more and more
A multi-step Bundle Builder flow (for example, guiding customers through Step 1: Choose your salad, Step 2: Select your main dish, Step 3: Add sides).
About Recurring Weekly Subscriptions
If you want customers to build their box and have it repeat weekly, I think the best is to reach out to the BOGOS support team to request an integration with a subscription app (like Appstle).
They’ll review your store and advise whether a compatible solution can be arranged.
I kind of build the ui for this, I cannot say this about the subscription thing though.

Check out bundled discounted collection product. It does not have dynamic pricing yet we can choose to implement this. Or you can include only items which will accumulate to the price you set on the backend. So there are possibilities of work to do depending on requirement but there’s a structure here.
This is a great use case, build-your-box meal prep is one of the most popular setups we see!
What you’re looking for is essentially two things working together:
Build-your-box / mix & match bundle: Customers pick 5+ meals from your ~15 options, pays as one bundled product
Recurring subscription billing: Weekly delivery with the flexibility to swap meals each week
Here’s the thing: most bundle apps handle the “build your box” part really well, but subscriptions usually require a separate subscription app. The good news is they can work together!
How the setup typically works:
Bundle app handles the meal selection UI (pick 5+ from 15 meals, minimum enforced, clean interface)
→ Subscription app handles the recurring billing (weekly charges, customer portal to manage/swap meals)
→ The two integrate so customers subscribe to their custom box
Popular subscription apps to explore:
• Recharge
• Seal Subscriptions
• Loop Subscriptions
• Shopify native Subscriptions (more basic)
For the bundle side, full transparency, I’m from Simple Bundles we integrate with most major subscription apps and support mix & match boxes with minimum quantity requirements. You’d set up your 15 meals as options, require a minimum of 5, and the subscription app handles the weekly billing.
I’d love to see those reference websites if you want to share! Always helpful to see exactly what UX you’re going for.
This is a fairly common use case for the meal prep model when you want customers to choose their own meals based on their preferences and subscribe to weekly recurring deliveries. This setup can be fully achieved by combining Easify Box Builder to build the “Pick Your Own Meals” interface and Appstle Subscription to handle the recurring billing.
Here’s an example I’ve created so you can see how it works:
First, in Easify Box Builder, create a new box and select the Regular Box type. Then, add all items from your menu (for example, 15 options) into the box so customers can freely mix and match based on their needs. The interface will display the meal list with quantity increase/decrease buttons, allowing customers to flexibly select the exact number of servings they want.
Next, to ensure customers order at least 5 meals per week, you can set a requirement in Required Selections. Simply go to Edit conditions and set the rule to Quantity is greater than or equal to 5. With this in place, the system will prevent customers from proceeding to checkout until they have selected at least 5 meals.
Finally, to set up recurring subscriptions, go to Appstle Subscription and create or edit a Selling Plan with the frequency set to Every 1 Week (auto-renew). Then, attach this selling plan to the box product you created. When customers choose “Subscribe & Save,” the order will automatically renew and be billed weekly according to your configuration.
With this combination, you can create a flexible meal selection experience, enforce a weekly minimum quantity, and run subscriptions automatically in a streamlined way—without needing a complex system.
