We are planning to install a new theme and make a few changes on our website. We need to get the website ready first and then replace the current one.
Should we get a trial account, duplicate the website there, do all the changes and move the website back to our account?
Is this the best solution or shopify offers a development area or something like that?

If you’re just changing themes, you can install a second, third, etc… theme next to your primary one while keeping it unpublished. You can do all the necessary work on it then publish once you’re ready. No need for another store.
