For your Shopify store, I’d suggest B2B Wholesale Hub. It lets you set up groups like Restaurants or Retail, give each group custom prices for different pack sizes, and hide wholesale products so only logged-in customers can see them. It’s simple to use and handles all your wholesale needs.
The apps mentioned above handle the pricing and visibility side well.
One thing worth keeping in mind for food & bev specifically: even with a great portal set up, a lot of your wholesale buyers, restaurants, food service accounts, retailers, will still send orders by email. A PDF, an Excel sheet, a plain text list. It’s just how that industry operates, especially with older or larger accounts.
So once you have the pricing groups and catalog sorted, the next bottleneck tends to be order intake, manually re-entering what customers email you into Shopify draft orders.
Full disclosure: that’s exactly what we built LevelOps PDF to Order for. It parses emailed POs and creates draft orders automatically, with product matching against your catalog and customer assignment. Doesn’t replace the pricing/visibility apps, it just handles the inbound side so your team isn’t copying and pasting orders.
Miko B2B Wholesale House lets you run a complete wholesale operation directly from your Shopify admin. Create customer groups, assign tags, and set percentage discounts or exact product rates that apply automatically at checkout. Set custom rates per product and variant, enable net terms with NET 30, 45, 60, and 90 day options, control product visibility per group, and import purchase orders via CSV. No coupon codes or theme changes required.
