I’m currently looking for a reliable free shipping calculator app for Shopify that can accurately display shipping thresholds and dynamically update based on cart value, location, and shipping rules.

It is great that you are testing ShipEZ, as it is a solid choice for flexible rates.
However, if you find yourself hitting a wall with complex needs like blending rates from different warehouses or handling heavy-item surcharges, you can have a look at Advanced Shipping Rules and ShipX.
However, Advanced Shipping Rules does not have a Free Plan but they do not have a Free Trial that you can test out. ShipX does have a Free Plan though.
While some stores need a more complex, rules-based solution, I’ve just released a completely free, very simple free shipping bar that may suit those looking for something lightweight and easy to set up.
