Best practice for Translate & Adapt and Geolocalization when migrate from a Theme to another

Hi there,

for a shop I do support, we are planning to migrate from a legacy theme for which by the way the translation is done in different language to another one more recent and supported by Shopify.

After have changed only the theme we have seen that the Geolocalization app does not work and as well as the translation then is also not working.

So we have reverted to old theme.

What is then the best approach to indeed migrate to a new Theme and keep all work done for translation in Translate & Adapt?

Some contact that are in the location for which I translated and I expected that the correct language was showing, so the pop up, reported me it isn’t showing
