Wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what the best Shopify theme might be for a florist/gift shop? We also offer floral subscriptions and need to schedule out deliveries/pickups (and we offer delivery, pickup & shipping for gift shop items) so wondering if there is a theme that supports those features better than others? We currently use Dawn, Seal Subscriptions & Bird Pickup Delivery and it doesn’t work as seamlessly as we had hoped. Any recommendations would be great!! Thank you!!

Here are some of my theme recommendations for a florist Shopify store. First is Flow, this theme has a minimalist design where you can customize your homepage section to highlight featured products, collections, and promotions. Second one is, Symmetry, it offers a sleek and modern design perfect for highlighting the elegance of your floral works. Lastly, is Prestige, this one has a premium theme design that is also popular to luxury brands. It has sophisticated design and customizable homepage.

Your three requirements actually live in two different places, and it’s worth knowing which is which before you spend money on a theme.
Subscriptions aren’t a theme feature. No theme does floral subscriptions on its own. It will require an app. Any OS 2.0 theme will work with them, so don’t choose a theme on this basis. Delivery date and slot scheduling will need an app as well.
What the theme can genuinely control is whether your storefront can stop taking orders you can’t fulfil, and how clearly pickup, local delivery and shipping are presented before the customer commits.
On that last point: the theme we built (Orchid, part of the Takeout family) can block orders placed outside your trading hours, so nobody buys a same-day bouquet at 1am on a Sunday. As far as I know it’s the only Theme Store theme that does that natively.
