When attempting to customize my storefront, a box states that I need to allow third party cookies to work with my site. When I click “Allow Cookies” I get a blank screen. I have tried, repeatedly, for over a week to troubleshoot this. I’ve contact support who claim it is a privacy setting issue and basically told me to disable all privacy and tracking, which frankly does not seem like a great idea. Nonetheless, I did it. It didn’t work. I’ve looked at every setting I can, googled disabling third party cookies ad nauseam, but have yet to find a solution. If I can’t solve it in the next week, as much as I’d hate to, I’m just closing the account. If anyone has a solution, I would be eternally grateful.
Hello there @AtWitsEnd sorry to see that you are experiencing this, have you tried getting in touch with any experienced Shopify developers yet? I think you should try one out and get consultation on what to do if possible.
Hi @Bundler-Manuel . I haven’t reached out to any developers. I chose Shopify because I thought I could manage it myself. I have no interest in outsourcing it. I talked to Support, that was about it.
This suddenly happened to me today after clearing my cache. I am on Safari and was able to mitigate the issue by going into the Safari Privacy settings and de-selecting “Website Tracking: Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.”
I am also not happy to have to de-select this setting just to edit this store; You can always re-select it once you’ve finished making changes.
Hope the above settings change works for you.
