Blank space at the end of my products page

My shopify website shows a blank space at the bottom when I open a product page. The blank space does not show up at all times rather is showing in random. It is causing an hindrance for my customers. How do I manage and fix the issue? I have attached a screen shot of the issue in the attachment.

Please note that the blank space does not always show on the same page. It shows at random pages.

I tried finding the theme.scss file as you had mentioned but I could not find it. I am currently running the Empire theme for my shopify website. There is however a file named theme.liquid, do i copy and paste the code at the bottom of the file theme.liquid?

I searched for the file and it was named theme.scss. liquid and I tried to edit and add the code bu the following message popped up. I am not good with coding and Iā€™m not sure if I understand what this means.

I refreshed the page and the coding to theme.scss.liquid showed. I also put the code you gave and copy pasted it at the bottom of the coding as you had instructed as well but it did not work. The blank spaces are still showing at random in the product pages.
