Blockshop update, Header menu moved from centered to 3 lines left aligned

Topic summary

  • Issue: After updating to Blockshop 9.3, the header menu switched from centered text links to a left-aligned three-line (hamburger) icon, resembling the mobile layout, with no obvious setting to revert.

  • Context: The live site still runs an older Blockshop version that isn’t compatible with the Theme Updater. The team is rebuilding the new version before publishing. They asked if a non-published preview link could be shared; confirmation was given that preview is fine.

  • Resolution: The behavior was due to responsive design breakpoints— the browser window wasn’t wide enough, triggering the mobile header. Enlarging the browser restored the centered desktop menu.

  • Outcome/Status: Resolved; no theme changes required. No further action items.

I just updated our theme to blockshop 9.3? and the menu went from centered across the top with words, to 3 lines as if it were the mobile version. I do not see a way to change it back to the centered across the top.

Hi @Dustbunnymom

Would you mind to share your Store URL website? with password if its unpublish. Thanks!

My website is live with the older version of Blockshop, which we found is not compatible with the “Theme Updater”. So, we’re customizing it, rebuilding the whole, from the beginning, before publishing.

Would you be able to view a link from that version without it being published?

No worries, you can share just the preview. Thanks!

my daughter fixed it. I didn’t have the browser window open big enough…lol
