Bombarded with 'shopify expert' marketing emails

Hello,

I wonder if someone can help me? I recently made my site live and since then, I have been receiving 100s of emails from people saying roughly the same thing ‘I love your products but I have noticed some weaknesses on your site that I can help you with if you give me your WhatsApp number’.

I have questioned each time and some have come back to say they found my details on the Shopify Community page. I don’t have a contact form enabled on my site so my first question is, are the contact details of newly launched sites made public in the Shopify Community forum? Also, how can I stop this from happening?

Did they email you directly or via the contact form of your store? Have you added your email anywhere on your site? I guess these are pre-designed emails, and they are trying to sell something to you. Just skip them and continue your work.
