Brand logo on product page

We offer 100+ product brands on our website. We are using a metafield to store the brand name. We are looking for a way to display the brand logo (with a link to the corresponding brand page) on the product page. I have found several apps that help create a “shop by brand” page, but none that allow the brand name to be displayed on the corresponding product pages.

Any ideas in terms of an app, or a customization? I believe I can use two metafields to accomplish this (one for the image and one for the link) along with an app that generates a shop-by-brand page, but I’m wondering if there’s a more efficient way of doing this, especially since brands in our industry come and go, so I’d like to automate as much of this as possible.

Well, two metafields should work. But as alternative, consider using Metaobjects instead. You can create Brand metaobject, with not just name and image, but maybe a short description. Then add a new metafield as list of metaobjects (choose Brand).
THat way you can just check what brands you want on each product page.

Note, you can create Metaobject templates for Brand so each one have dedicated page.
