We’ve just installed the Posten Bring Checkout app on a Shopify Basic store and immediately ran into an issue with pickup points.
Customers can select “Pickup to service point”, but cannot choose the actual Bring pickup location in checkout (before payment).
Some Shopify documentation suggests this requires Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS), which is included in Shopify Grow / Advanced / Plus. However, upgrading from Basic (and potentially paying an additional recurring CCS fee) feels like overkill just to enable Bring pickup-point selection.
Ideally, we’d prefer paying for a third-party app that supports Bring pickup-point selection in checkout on Shopify Basic, if such a solution exists.
Questions:
– Does the Posten Bring Checkout app support in-checkout pickup-point selection on Shopify Basic?
– Are there any apps that support Bring pickup-point selection without upgrading plans?
Any advice or real-world experience would be greatly appreciated.
