Brooklyn Theme -- Add Gallery section with captions

Hi all,

I am trying to add a gallery section to the Brooklyn theme similar to what’s in sooooo many other themes. I’ve puttered around with trying to tweak the code from other themes, but am having no success. Also, I’d love, love, love it if this mysterious gallery section that I’d like to have includes the ability to add captions.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

What exactly do you mean by a gallery section with captions? Can you please share one of the themes you mentioned you’ve seen it on?
