Hi everyone,
Currently I’m using the Brooklyn theme, on the Cart view the “Update Cart” button is not working. When click checkout, the checkout page is not showing the exactly amount of product. Example I update view Cart is 3 for a product’s quantity, but at checkout page still 1.
- This is the counter :
{{ ‘cart.label.quantity’ | t }}
-
This is the “Update Cart” button:
{{ ‘cart.general.update’ | t }}
-
This is the “Checkout” button:
{{ ‘cart.general.checkout’ | t }}
Please does someone have any solution for this issue?
Thank you!
Hi there, @Jen2021_SS .
Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community! This is a great place to come with any questions regarding your Shopify store, or anything else Shopify related.
I appreciate you providing those coding snippets to be looked over. I just have a couple questions I’m hoping you can answer:
- Can you provide a link to your website so we can test this functionality on the specific page?
- Have you done any custom coding work in your store or with these specific pages?
- Do you have any screenshots you can provide that can help us see a bit more of the situation happening on your store?
- Does this issue seem to occur in a fresh download of the Brooklyn theme in your store?
If you haven’t done any in-depth custom coding to these sections of your theme, then you can reach out to our Support Team and they can make a request to our Theme Specialists so they can investigate things for you. You can use this link here to contact them via email, callback, or live chat.
I’ll keep my eye out for your reply so I can continue assisting you with this situation.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply ~
- Here is the screenshot where after changed to quantity 3, click on Update button or Checkout, the quantity still is 1

Hi,
I have found the cause of this issue is affected directly from an APP “XYZ” that was installed on our store.
I have deleted the APP and now UPDATE_CART is working correctly.
Thank you so much for your time
