BUG: client login as B2B but, liquid shows him as not B2B

Topic summary

A bug has been identified in Shopify’s B2B functionality where customers lose their B2B status after logging in.

Specifically, when B2B clients log into their accounts and navigate back to the shop or re-enter the URL, the system no longer recognizes them as B2B customers—even though they remain logged in. This causes issues like MSRP pricing not displaying correctly.

The workaround currently requires customers to click links within their account page to regain B2B status (with their assigned account number). However, the expected behavior is that B2B status should be automatically applied upon login without requiring additional steps.

A screenshot has been provided illustrating the issue. The problem remains unresolved and appears to be a system-level bug affecting the B2B customer experience.

Hi @Shopify_Community ,

I found bug. We received a complaint from the client that he doesn’t see the MSRP. I not sure exact flow, but as much as I tested I see if client login to his b2b account and go back to shop, or enter url again. Shopify sees him as not b2b. He is still logged in but not b2b. But must click links in account page, to became b2b(assigned with account number)

It should became b2b when they login. No extra steps…
