Bug Description:
When in an order and attempting to email a customer, our employees somewhat often complain that the Customer Contact dialog box disappears while attempting to select & remove the default content from the Subject textbox. This bug appears to be consolidated to Google Chrome, regardless of which extensions are enabled/installed. It is my personal opinion that this occurs due to the left mouse button being released outside of the dialog window.
How to replicate:
- Open an order in Google Chrome
- Click on the customer’s email under Contact Information
- When the Contact Customer dialog box comes up, attempt to quickly highlight all of the default content (Message from {{ shop.name }}) in the Subject textbox.
- Occasionally (40-50% of the time), the dialog box will disappear, as if you clicked outside of the dialog box region.
I can include a video of this bug appearing if I can do so privately, as it would include customer information.
